Cisco is the worldwide leader in networking that transforms how people connect, communicate, and collaborate. Their technology is changing the nature of work and the way we live. Founded in 1984, Cisco pioneered the development of Internet Protocol (IP)-based networking technologies. This tradition continues with the development of routing, switching, and other technologies such as application networking services, home networking, security, storage area networking, TelePresence systems, unified communications, video systems, and wireless.
Cisco pays special attention to its network accessories which are the foundation stone of the whole network system. Cisco cables, adapters and other accessories will never let you down and you can always rely on the superior quality and outstanding reliability. Cisco has a wide range of network cables that will fit even the most extraordinary demands.
Cisco QSFP-100G to four SFP-25G copper direct-attach breakout cables (Figure 2) are suitable for very short links and offer a cost-effective way to connect within racks and across adjacent racks. These breakout cables connect to a 100G QSFP port of a Cisco switch on one end and to four 25G SFP ports of a Cisco switch/server on the other end. Cisco currently offers passive cables in lengths of x=1, 2, 3 and 5 meters.
