The Manhattan 4K@60Hz Active DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter enables you to connect a DisplayPort-equipped desktop computer to an HDMI display. It is compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 & HDMI 4K@60Hz to support video resolutions up to Ultra HD (4K) as well as the accompanying digital audio up to 7.1 channel surround sound. It is also backward compatible with previous DisplayPort revisions 1.0/1.1 with support for resolutions up to 1080p. If your computer’s HDMI port is already in use, you can start multi-tasking by connecting a second HDMI display to an available DisplayPort port.

To ensure compatibility with any DisplayPort output this DP Adapter offers an active conversion. Active video conversion is required to maintain 4K resolutions when converting DisplayPort to HDMI. This active DP Adapter is also ideal for outputting 1080p video resolutions by ensuring compatibility with graphics cards that are not capable of outputting multi-mode DP++ signals (like AMD Eyefinity), which makes it great as a gaming adapter.
